Our School
Our new Primary School building was officially opened on 29th September 1994 . The new building was designed by a reputable architect and we benefit from an attractive and stimulating learning environment with excellent facilities.
These include 7 classrooms, a community room, a number of work bays for small groups, 2 library areas, 2 kitchen areas in addition to the main school kitchen, a music and drama room, an ICT suite as well as computer bays grouped throughout the school, 3 resource rooms, a staff room, a medical room and 3 offices.
The outside areas have been landscaped and we have a number of small gardens, as well as 2 hard play areas, a playdale and a large field. Also located on the school site is the Park Children's Centre, which provides a range of quality pre-school experiences for both adults and children.
Our building and grounds are well-maintained and we take pride in our environment. We have recently joined a recycling scheme and are planning to develop the outside area further to support the broader curriculum and enhance children’s learning .
There are currently 174 children on roll and the school is divided into 7 classes - one for each year group, in the Foundation stage (Reception class), Key Stage 1 (infants) and Key Stage 2 (juniors).

We are a community school and work in close collaboration with parents, governors and members of the local community including businesses, religious groups, other local schools and professionals from the health and emergency services. We also have links with a school in our twin town in France.
